A shout out to my daughter and a freebie!

My 13 year old daughter has started a blog! We are using it in her homeschooling as a way to get her writing, proof-reading (ok, she definitely needs help in this arena), and spelling. We are trying several things to motivate her in her writing efforts, the blog being one of them. She went nuts when she saw someone from Australia post a comment on my blog, so I thought I would encourage visitors (and comments) to her blog by giving her a freebie to give away. So, if you have time, I'd love it if you stopped by her blog and left her a comment. Be sure to let her know where you are from--we'll use that in a geography lesson! Be sure to stop in every now and then and check out what she's up to!

And so you don't leave my blog empty handed, I have a coordinating freebie here as well! If you have school photos you want to scrap, my Fall into School kit is perfect for them! NO time? No worries! I've got awesome quick pages as well! And in honor of my new homeschooling adventure with Christina, I've put the Fall into School Collection on sale for 25% off!

Download freebie HERE.

Another homeschooler!? That's fantastic news. Fortunately, I'm on the tail-end of our homeschooling journey. I'll try to stop by your dd's blog later and leave a note. And you know, there's nothing that says she can't join the train (At least I don't think there is.) And she can always start a train of her own!

Hi Amanda! This is my first time checking out the blog train (and I'm up WAY too late! LOL!)

Congrats to you on your homeschooling decision! I hope it goes well for you (and that you get your happy pre-hormonal dd back!). We have homeschooled for the last 5 years and it has been a great decision for us. But now, next year, my 15yo daughter will be going to public school for high school. Mixed feelings about that. Anyway, I sure wish you the best! Homeschooling is a GREAT choice! :)

Great idea on the kiddo blog. My dd might like that too, and she could also use the practice with spelling and proofreading!

Great idea to have your daughter start a blog. Four of my grandchildren are home schooled. I will mention this to my DIL and maybe they will get a blog going too. I will now head over to your daughter's blog!

Thank you for the lovely freebies. You do beautiful work. I have just come from your daughter's blog. I left her a message and look forward to revisiting there to see how her writing is progressing. I have three granddaughters in the same age bracket and know how important their friends are.

I left a comment on your dd's blog too - great idea and I do think it will inspire some appreciation for geography!
