My daughter's home and I have new hybrid!

Yippee. Never thought I'd be excited to have Christina home from camp, but I am thrilled! She had a fabulous camp. The leaders told me that she was one of the best girls in the whole camp. They said she really took on a leadership position and was motivating and caring. They told me this story: They were taking a long hike one of the days and there was one girl who was really lagging behind. A leader was walking with her and trying to motivate her to keep going. THe girl just wanted to quit. Christina got her friends and they went to the back where this girl was. They said, "We decided to come back here because this is where the fastest hikers are. We have the slower ones up front to keep the pace and we stay back here to keep the ones in front of us hiking." This girl was so thrilled that they were walking with her and they thought she was one of the fast hikers! She actually started hiking faster and finished the entire hike without one more negative word. I am so proud of Tina and the way she encouraged this young girl. She just rocks! Now, if we could just get her to clean her room! LOL! BTW, she updated her blog with some camp photos! http://reluctant-recluse.blogspot.com/

I stayed up late last night and finished off a new hybrid album. This one fits the Basic Grey Bracket album and is made with SOng of Hope.

I also put up the Song of Hope Ethan's Album in the store for those of you who missed the blog train!

Keep an eye out because I have about 5 other quick page and hybrid albums on my hard drive waiting to be packaged and uploaded to the store! I'm also going to be working on a wedding kit for Katherine, one of the Digitals CT Members. Her brother had some gorgeous colors at his wedding that I'll use. Last, but not least, I'll be making an add on for America the Beautiful. I love this kit so much and want to make a kind of "Americana" add on. That one will be finished by July 1st.

I've also got a freebie for you from my Song of Hope Bracket Album. This is an additional page not found in the store! Grab it now, then check out the album at Digitals. The bracket album and Ethan's Album are both on sale for 25% off for one week!

That's a great story about your daughter. Good luck on the room cleaning part. If you find the secret to getting her to do it, let me know so I can use it on my kids.

I just love, love, love your work - thank you for sharing! Isn't it amazing how your kids can be such angels for someone else? I was always shocked when someone told me my sons were the best behaved of the whole group!!

How blessed you are to have such a compassionate daughter and her friends also. What inspiration to read about this considering the negative news we hear about teenagers. Now as to her room, well that will follow in time. Thank you for the new hybrid.

No wonder you are so proud of her! Wish more teenage girls would think like that!! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful page. I'm off to go check out Tina's photos.

Gorgeous album Amanda. And I love the story about your daughter. I can't believe she thought of that. So maybe something like that would get her to clean her room. Leave the LR a bit messy and tell her something about keeping up with her!? lol Anyway, thanks for the free page.
