CT Layout 2 using Celebrate Life!

Well shoot! When I started to create my son's first-day-of-school page for this year I realized I had not taken a photo of him at our front door. At least I did have some photos from that day, of him setting off on his bike. He is in his sophomore year of college and we only live about 5 miles from campus, so it is easy for him to ride when the weather is nice. Again, I used Amanda's versatile Celebrate Life! kit.

CT Layout using Celebrate Life!

I always take a photo of my kids on our front porch on the first day of school each year, and then I create a layout for each kid using that photo. I started to do the same today for my daughter, who is in her senior year of high school, and then I thought how fun it would be to look back at all her first-day pics! Amanda's grid paper reminded me of a template I had that was perfect for the 12 photos (K - 11th grade). I used Amanda's new Celebrate Life! kit for these pages.

Jan wallpaper

Hi, Lynn again with your Jan wallpaper. I think you are going to love Amanda's new kit Celebrate Winter! Plus it's on sale right now, and it has a matching kit for the Calendar Challenge Amanda hosts at Digitals.
Here is just a sample in the form of Jan's wallpaper.
Just click on the preview to be taken to the download. Enjoy!

CT Layout using Christmas Tea

My daughter has always loved sock monkeys, and last year she got sock monkey slippers for Christmas - one of her favorite gifts. I used Amanda's new kit "Christmas Tea" to scrap this. The red solid paper is from an accompanying freebie which was in one of the recent Digitals newsletters.
Merry Christmas! ~Sparky4

One of the pleasures of living in Utah is having so much beauty around us! One of our family's favorite drives is up Millcreek Canyon in the Fall. The trees are ablaze with fiery colors, the air is crisp, and photo opportunities abound!

This is one of my favorite family photos taken in Millcreek Canyon.

Millcreek Canyon was inspired by those Autumn drives.

There are only a few more days to catch my whole store on sale for 35%-50% off! Hurry in!

Today's Background Stack is made with "Remembering You." I made this kit after "celebrating" what would have been my daughter Crystal's 18th birthday. We lost Crystal at birth, after we were forced to deliver her at 28 weeks. I also have quickpages available in 12x12 and 8.5x11 sizes

Photo Treasure Hunt at Digitals

I hope you've had a chance to stop in the forums and play some games at the Digitals Birthday Bash! I'm having a ton of fun with the Photo Treasure hunt. In fact, I wanted to share a few things I've done with the those challenges.

The first day was all about lines, so I found some awesome photos from my trip to England (for the wedding!!) that had great lines.

The second day was taking a not-so-perfect photo and fixing it up to be the -oh-so-perfect photo for your project. This is my gorgeous daughter, Christina. I used some fun actions to make all the adjustments and love how they turned out.

(I used my new kit, Wild Mood Swings Too, for this layout)

The third day was taking a photo with a prop. This past summer, we took Clifford on all our outings and put together a book entitled "Emily Elizabeth's Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog." It was so fun to take him to all our fun events--baseball game, first lost tooth, Colorado, Park City, softball tournaments, hotels, movies--and memorialize our summer in that way. I used several of those photos along with an awesome page overlay from Diana Burton to make this layout.

I hope you'll join us the rest of the week as we have fun taking photos and trying new things!

Birthday Bash Continues! Day 3!

Another day, another freebie! Thanks for joining us in our birthday blog train. I hope you've had time to stop in at the forums and play some games, as well as taking time to shop in the store. Remember that my whole store is on sale for 35%-50% off! Don't miss this!
