Day 4 and Family News!

Yesterday, my sweet 19 year old son got a mission call from our church! He will be leaving the day after Christmas to serve a mission in Uruguay! Mom is sad and excited all at the same time! It will be a great experience for him but I will miss him terribly! I've got a blog set up to post all his letters and any photos that he is able to send. Hopefully that will keep me busy for the next 2 years while he's away!

Remember the Fall into School collection is on sale for 50% off!

Amanda... thank you for another gorgeous school edition...

CONGRATULATIONS to your son also. He will have a marvelous experience not only travelling but doing something he is passionate about. There are always moments that are sad - leaving, but the experiences more than make up for those iffy times. I wish your son a wonderful time!

hugs
xoxo

Congratulations on your son's mission call. That is so exciting! It's really nice that he'll be able to be home for Christmas, too. It's such a wonderful blessing for him and for your family for him to be able to serve the Lord for 2 years. I'm sure you must be very proud of him. Thank you so much for this badge album. It's really wonderful. But then everything you do is wonderful.

Congratulations to your son on this important and exciting assignment. My nephew was assigned to Peru and it was really eye-opening to him. He was able to do some very good work and grew to appreciate our Country's blessings. Best of everything to you and your son while he is away.

Thanks again for the freebie. And blessings on your son and family. I remember so well those mixed feelings you have when the mission call comes. When my daughter found out she was going to Chicago, she was so excited because they have a huge ward for the hearing impaired and she was going to get to use her signing. But NO ! She was sent to a Spanish-speaking area with a companion who spoke no English. LOL ! She learned to speak Spanish out of necessity. We still laugh at the 'surprise' the Lord had for her!! :D
