My latest layout of the day came from Gotta Pixel on October 7, 2006. It is a layout of Christina and I last fall when we took family pictures up Emigration Canyon. I love this one. It uses a kit by Denise Liemert that is just beautiful.
“Mom and Christina Fall 2005” (another creative title, don’t you think?)

Fifth Layout of the Day
The next layout of the day was a huge honor. There is a group called “The Kudos Group” who pick layouts from all over the web to be their layout of the day. I was chosen on September 27, 2006 for my layout “Jesus Loves Me” again featuring my darling Emily!

Fourth Layout of the Day
My fourth layout of the Day came on September 24, 2006, again over at Digitals. This was another “All About Me” layout that I made using a shadow box. I just put together a little shadow box with some items that represent me. A lot of it has to do with my marriage and husband: 20 years (how long we've been married), US, magnolias are my favorite flower, i love baubles and bright shiny objects and i try to live by the sayings "be the change" "be strong" "Seize the moment" "Enjoy". I had fun with it and loved the kit I used by Dana Frantz called “Flea Market”! It is funky fun!
This one is called “All About Me Shadow Box” (original name, I know!)

Third Layout of the Day
The third layout of the day came September 14, 2006 over at Scrappers Daily Dose where one of my favorite layouts won Layout of the Day honors. This one is a layout of my beautiful baby Emily. The photo was taken shortly after birth. I used Dana Frantz’ beautiful kits “Oh Baby Boy” and “Oh Baby Girl”.
It is called “Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice”.

First Layout of the Day
I made this poor little blog 2 months ago and have never posted! Today, I am rectifying my mistake and also testing things out! Hopefully, I’ll figure things out as I go along and not make too many errors! I thought I would toot my own horn on this first entry and write about some of the recognition I’ve received for some of my layout designs.
My first recognition came On September 12, 2006 when I received Layout of the Day honors at Digitals. I made an “All About Me” page about my favorite things. It is called “My Favorite Things…Books”.
