Scrap Therapy Chat Monday Night!

Monday, June 16th, at 9:00 pm EST we will be holding a combined Scrap Therapy/Calendar Crop at Digitals. This month ended up being so hectic that I needed to combine them! Beth Rimmer is in the house with me and we will have freebies, fun, and frolic! We'll talk fathers, hybrid, and--I'm sure--toilet paper! (seems everybody stockpiles except me. What's that all about?!)

Planet Hybrid Day 5--hybrid 25% off

Happy Saturday! I am wiped out today! I got called out on a call this morning at 3:30 am (I am a victim's advocate for a rape crisis center), but luckily I was able to have a short nap with Emily this afternoon. I did some shopping today for our father's day dinner--hubby asked for my homemade buttermilk waffles surrounded by a big southern breakfast (minus the grits--he doesn't see the point!) The family was in the mood for Thai tonight, so I picked up some take out. We always get Pad Thai, Massaman Beef Curry, Yellow Chicken Curry, Chicken Satay, and Fried Spring Rolls. Yummy. I was disappointed in the Thai food tonight--it was pretty flavorless, so I think next time we do take out, we'll try a new place. This place raised their prices, but the quality went down. Too bad because they were really great! Maybe they got a new chef or something...I grabbed a frozen turtle pie from the store and as soon as I am finished blogging, we are eating turtle pie and watching "I am Legend." The family has seen it several times, but I haven't yet, so tonight's the night!

My daughter is having a ball with her blog! We went to the Map Supply store yesterday and got a huge laminated wall map for her to use for tracking her new online "friends". Of course, we had to get an atlas and 2 geography books while we were there! Her initial goal was to get a comment from every continent. Last night, with a comment from Africa, I think she hit that goal. Well, no one has commented from Antarctica, but we can skip that one right? (If you know anyone on a cruise there, have them send a comment!)

Every day, as soon as I pick her up from summer school, she asks to check her blog. We are both having so much fun with it. (btw, she corrected that run-on sentence from yesterday! Holy cow!) Anyway, look for a freebie on her blog later this evening when she gets home from church. She wants to thank everyone for visiting and commenting! We are working on teaching her how to use ACDSee for scrapbooking. When she figures it out, she'll be able to make her own quick pages to share!
