Brilliant WebLog Award

I am flattered today to be nominated for the Brilliant Weblog Award by SuzeeQ! Thanks Suzee! If you haven't checked out Suzee's blog, you need to! She is the collector of all great things free on the web. Many blogs link you to all the freebies available, but Suzee only chooses the best! (thanks, Suz, for including me on your list!)

The rules of the award are:

1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls you've nominated

So, after a lot of thought...the blogs I nominate are as follows:

1. Dea Spina Designs: Dea is the nicest person on the planet! She truly is one of a kind and I love her to pieces! She makes the most fantastic layouts that I am constantly in awe of. Those talents aren't enough for Dea--nope, she is also the most amazing designer! She puts up some great freebies and astounding coupons on her blog so you really must bookmark it! She's the bomb!

2. Scrapville (GLenda Ketcham): Glenda's blog (maintained by her daughter) is just so cool! SHe gives out full kit freebies to people who are subscribed to her blog and also hands out some great coupons for her fun kits! I am so excited to use her World's Greatest Place kits for our trip to Disneyland next month! CHeck out her blog and subscribe for some great perks! Oh, and you must do her scripture challenge EOM at Digitals. Her scripture word art cannot be beat! She's on this month, so be sure to check it out!

3. AfriDigiDiva: Gotta admit, I love reading this blog. Any blog that can make me laugh out loud (check out her post "Leave us alone (please)") is worthy of this award! I love the way she speaks her mind with humor and passion. My kind of woman. If you haven't checked her out, stop on by.

4. Hutchie's Blog: If you want to stop by a blog that was made for scraplifting, check out Chris' blog! The woman is a genius with the layouts and her children make the perfect subjects! I love Chris, love her commitment to her children and Army husband, love her layouts. FOr some fabulous eye candy, check out her most brilliant blog!

5. LovelyMissKait's Place: Dang, this girl can scrap! I haunt her's and Hutchie's layouts! Kait is phenomenal at taking fabulous photos then scrapping the heck out of them! She is on the ct of Scrapbookgraphics and has some amazing stuff to work with, but I think she could make any kit look like an award winner! Kait is always getting published and deservedly so! The girl works wonders!

6. Black Belt Scrapping: Barb is a great writer! I love her descriptions of every day life, of the existence of Hell (yes, there is one and it consists of stripping wallpaper), and her tasty recipes that she posts on Tuesdays. I found her on the blog train at DST a few months ago and have been happily reading her blog since then. Her photos are amazing (check out her 4th of July ones--astounding)!

7. The Creative Junkie: Another great descriptive writer. I found her awhile back and love reading her blog. Her last post was pure art. Plus, anyone who has the cahunas to post a photo of their swollen fever blistered lip really ought to win an award of some kind! (mine happens to be a good one, but i'm sure it could have gone either way!) Read this blog and you'll get some serious laughs!

8. Pioneer Woman: This one is just a throw in for y'all to check out if you haven't already! I love reading a looking at this blog. Her Marlboro Man is truly hot and I love her descriptions of life on the working ranch. Hers is a great read, so link her up. SHe's great in the morning with pancakes and milk!

9. Reluctant Recluse: OK, this is my 13 yo dear daughter's blog, but I have to give her a shout out! SHe's had over 1500 hits to her blog in the first month she's had it and has had comments from every continent except Antarctica. (and really, at the rate we're heating up the planet, it's not going to be a continent for long, so let's not count it!) Tina logs all the blog comments on a big map in our family room. It has really given her a love of geography and a boost in her fragile teenage self-esteem. SO keep those comments coming folks!

I hope you enjoy reading these blogs as much as I do. Remember to leave them some love when you visit. Everyone loves to be acknowledged for their work and creativity!
